Depuis 1994, Mâcon Centre de Pêche
au Gros développe le tourisme en Val de Saône par l'intermédiaire
de la pêche et plus particulièrement de la richesse de la Saône
: Le Silure.
L'association a su obtenir la confiance de ses membres grâce à
la qualité de son service et de son accueil. Son expérience
et son savoir-faire la placent parmi les leader du tourisme pêche et
de la pêche au gros en eau douce.
Mâcon Centre de Pêche au Gros vous propose des séjours
de pêche au silure sur la Saône et met à votre disposition
tous les moyens nécessaires.

The association knew how to obtain the confidence of its members thanks to

In
1992 , two Maconnais fish for a silurid of 2,03 metres for 54 kg. Fishermen
of all the hexagon and even Europe come then to Mâcon to try to catch
such fishes.
In front of this influx of new fishermen and of the wealth of the Saône
in tall fishes, Mâcon's young Economic Chamber proposes an ambitious
project: open the 1-st French centre of fishing to the big in fresh water
to Mâcon. Their objective: make of Mâcon the capital of the
silure !
After a 1-st trial weekend in June, 1993 with fishermen come from Paris
and from Lyon to discover the fishing to the silure and the region, the
centre de pêche au gros opens its doors to spring, 1994 in collabortation
with the City of Mâcon in the form of an association of law 1901.
It proposes then to the fishermen of the stays of fishing in the silure
by putting in their arrangement a boat, a specialized fishing tackle, and
a guide of fishing who takes to pursue them " the big with a moustache
".
At first, boats are lent by the company Acroplast,
then the association invests in a boat and an engine in 1998.

En 1992, deux
maconnais pêchent un silure de 2,03 mètres pour 54 kg. Des
pêcheurs de tout l'hexagone et même d'Europe viennent alors
à Mâcon pour tenter d'attraper de tels poissons.
Face à cet afflux de nouveaux pêcheurs et à la richesse
de la Saône en poissons de grande taille, la Jeune Chambre Economique
de Mâcon propose un projet ambitieux : ouvrir le 1er centre français
de pêche au gros en eau douce à Mâcon. Leur objectif
: faire de Mâcon la capitale du silure !
Après un 1er week-end d'essai en juin 1993 avec des pêcheurs
venus de Paris et de Lyon découvrir la pêche au silure et la
région, le centre de pêche au gros ouvre ses portes au printemps
1994 en collabortation avec la Ville de Mâcon sous forme d'une association
de loi 1901.
Elle propose alors aux pêcheurs des séjours de pêche
au silure en mettant à leur disposition un bateau, du matériel
de pêche spécialisé, et un guide de pêche qui
les emmène traquer "le gros moustachu".
Au départ, des barques sont prêtées par la société
Acroplast, puis l'association investit dans un bateau et un moteur en
1998.
De plus, l'association lance un concours de pêche au silure en barque
sur la Saône qui aura lieu chaque année le 3ème week-end
de septembre.
En 1996, Guy Brocard, guide de pêche de Mâcon Centre de Pêche
au Gros, pêche un silure de 2,30 mètres pour 73 kg, un record
rapidement homologué !
A partir de 1999, plus de moyens sont mis en oeuvre pour accueillir les
pêcheurs avec l'arrivée de deux permanents : un nouveau guide
de pêche, Michel Willems, et une attachée commerciale pour
l'organisation, l'accueil et la promotion.
En 2001, Mâcon Centre de Pêche au Gros investit dans un nouveau
bateau de 4,5 mètres de long, qui peut accueillir 5 pêcheurs
à son bord tout en laissant une grande surface de pêche. Entièrement
équipé pour la pêche (coffre à cannes, viviers,
...), il est rapide (moyeur Yamaha 4 temps 50 CV aux nouvelles normes européennes)
et très stable.
